As one of Queensland’s most iconic tourism operators, Riverlife believes passionately in the care and respect of our natural habitat, and in growing strong ties between local indigenous groups and community organisations. Riverlife’s vision is for an inclusive community working together to create and preserve a special environment, which can be shared by locals and visitors alike.
As a result, Riverlife has been recognised for its contribution to the community and its environmental protection through numerous awards and affiliations. Riverlife is Eco-Certified by Ecotourism Australia, and has won the Griffith University Indigenous Community Engagement award. The Save The Children Fund has awarded Riverlife its White Flame Award for its outstanding service to children in need, along with numerous awards from the Brisbane City Council and Queensland Government Industry Authorities.
Riverlife has won the Lord Mayor’s business award as Employer of Choice. Riverlife has also built up an impressive partnership with local and national charities such as the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Spinal Injuries Association, Make A Wish Foundation and Autism Queensland – to name just a few.
