We know that realistically everyone wants to spend Australia Day by the pool with a beer in their hand. But we also know that you’ve got to get the kids out of the house, catch up with friends and family, and don’t forget the tunes and the BBQ you put your hand up to organise. This Australia Day, let us take the stress out of managing your responsibilities so you can focus on getting the family out of the house, having an adventure, and enjoying a BBQ with your mates and tunes.
BBQ and Drinks
After your adventure, enjoy a couple of well-earned beverages and a delicious BBQ by the river while you relax with your family and friends. There is no better way to finish an adventure than having an ice-cold beverage and a juicy BBQ.
What to Bring
- Comfortable clothes for adventuring (Something that you don’t mind getting wet if kayaking, that’s comfortable and a bit stretchy if abseiling)
- Hat, sunglasses, and water bottle
- Sense of adventure
What's Included
- Two-hour Adventure Tour of your choice. Either Abseiling or Kayaking
- Two sausage sizzle-style BBQ
- Two post Adventure beverages (under 18 years have soft drink and juice options)
- Additional “Bunning’s-style” sausage in bread, onion, sausage sizzle, and soft drinks are available to purchase along with our usual hot and cold coffees.
Terms and Conditions
- NO ALCOHOL to be consumed prior to the Kayak tour. Riverlife reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone found to have consumed alcohol.
- 8 years old minimum. 12 years and under must be accompanied by an adult – For Rock Climbing and Abseiling, this adult does not need to pay but must be present. For Kayaking, this adult must accompany their child on the tour.
- Please arrive 20 minutes prior to your session. Anyone arriving late and missing crucial safety information may not be able to attend and may forfeit their booking
- All participants agree that a photographer/videographer may be present and that Riverlife may use the material for positive promotion
- All participants must be able to swim if participating in the Day Kayaking Tour
